The name of our 4-star hotel was not chosen at random. If it is called Sercotel Calle Mayor it is because it is in the selfsame Calle Mayor, next to the Co-Cathedral of Santa María de la Redonda, just a few metres from the famous Calle Laurel and its pintxos, and without losing sight of the mighty Ebro. At the Calle Mayor Hotel we are family oriented and, as with the family, you can come to us at any time during your trip. There is always someone at our reception. 

When you check in at the Sercotel Calle Mayor, we will explain how to access our car park so you can park your car and forget about it during your trip. We will tell you which of our 30 rooms you will be staying in, how comfortable your bed will be, that you have a pillow menu in case you are not happy with the one you have and please let us know if there is anything we can do to make you feel at home.   

We'll also tell you where our gym is, in case you ever feel like doing some cardio or strength training. It's as simple as choosing a machine and starting your routine. And, of course, we will provide you with our Wi-Fi password. Although, let's face it, we know more about our city than Google itself. If you want, compare recommendations.  

And whether you're here on business, with an early start, or you're a late riser because you had a night on the tiles, in the mornings our breakfast buffet awaits you, copious, varied and enjoyable. You don't have to choose between sweet or savoury. Try a little bit of everything: cheeses, cold meats, toast, cereals, pastries, fruit, juices and coffee. From there, the day and Logroño are up to you.

From the moment you arrive, we make it easy for you. For example, if you have chosen to arrive by public transport to our city, we can tell you that our apartments are only a 15-minute walk from the train station. Everything at hand, so that you can enjoy Logroño on foot 

Getting around on foot is the best way to discover a destination. You can also come back to our apartments if you come back from having some pintxos and wines in its famous Laurel Street. Be careful, the devil takes the hindmost. Not for nothing, it is famous for being one of the best bar areas in Spain.  

However, if you feel like having lunch or dinner at home, don't worry. The 25 apartments at the Sercotel Logroño Suites have a fully equipped kitchen. You only have to go to the San Blas Market, located a 10-minute walk away, to buy the wonderful meats, sausages, fish, vegetables and fruit that this land of spectacular gastronomy has to offer. Afterwards, light some candles, put on some music and enjoy a homely evening. 

On the way, you can take advantage of the walk to the market to take a stroll with your dog through Logroño's green parks - such as the Espolón. Because yes, at the Sercotel Logroño Apartments they are also welcome.  

Logroño is a small, manageable, quiet and pleasant city. Perhaps this is why many digital nomads choose it as a place to spend a few days combining cultural visits with working hours. If this is your case, we provide you with a home where you can have free Wi-Fi connection. 

Although the city is enough for several days of sightseeing, you may want to explore the surrounding area, visit charming little villages, lose yourself among the vineyards and learn more about Rioja wine in its famous wineries. If you're travelling by car, forget about looking for parking and call us to reserve a space in our private car park. Don't worry, it's booked and when you arrive, we'll be waiting for you. Our hotel Portales is just a few minutes' walk from the Co-cathedral, from the traces left by the Camino de Santiago as it passes through Logroño and, above all, from the mythical Calle Laurel. Before you set off on your tour, ask us about our favourite pintxos. While we're at it, we'll tell you what each bar's speciality is.  

Mornings in our three-star hotel begin with opening the windows of our 48 rooms. This simple gesture will be enough to let you know how Logroño breathes today. You can even see it from some of them. What a view over the city, the Ebro valley and the Sierra Cantabria mountain range.

It would be a shame, though. They say that the breakfast buffet at the Sercotel Portales Hotel conquers stomachs and palates. And demanding ones, too. Assorted fruits, cereals, toast, some pastries here and some cold meats there. The hard part will be choosing.  

Do you remember that we wanted you to live Logroño? It's not possible to achieve this without mentioning the local wine. Ask us about wine tasting courses or excursions to wineries and vineyards.
